Job title : 2017/05/05 Software Engineer for Neuroimaging, Gif-sur-Yvette et Paris

Organization : CATI (http://cati-neuroimaging.com) is a national platform providing services to acquire, analyze, organize and share neuroimaging data for multicentric clinical research projects. CATI manages an acquisition network spread over more than 50 sites in France and Europe. It also develops software solutions for the automatic extraction of image measurements that can serve as biomarkers for research on pathologies related to the brain. In this context, CATI provides solutions for the management of image banks as well as high-level scientific expertise for image processing.

Mission : The engineer will work on several of the technologies involved in the construction of CATI services: Linux, Python, Qt, Pyramid, PostgreSQL, REST web services, Apache, OpenSSH, etc.
Objectives :
The recruited person will work mainly on CATI data flow and data sharing, but also on production and data analysis tools. These data combine heterogeneous measurements from several acquisition modalities such as MRI, nuclear imaging, genotype, behavioral assessments and neuropsychological questionnaires.
The main work will consist in setting up the data flow of new studies as well as the maintenance and operation of the services for existing studies. In particular :
• Implementation of the De Novo project data flow.
• Creation of a data exposure service for this project.
• Participation in the development of CATI's IT tools.

Degrees required :

Skills required : Strong experience in Python development ; Good knowledge of web technologies ; Knowledge of databases ; Interest in medical imaging and image processing techniques ; Rigor, autonomy, technical curiosity and keen interest in new technologies and multidisciplinary work ; Proficiency in both written and spoken French.
